The CELL-DYN 4000 uses the power of multiple technologies to bring new automated parameters to the hematology laboratory. Fluorescent detection of RNA allows for fully-automated, random-access reticulocyte results. Fluorescent DNA staining of nucleated red blood cells ensures accurate white blood cell values and provides a reportable NRBC count. Two-dimensional Optical platelet counts with automatic verification by focused-flow impedance provides enhanced information for platelet analysis.
