General Description:
The Applied Biosystems Model 373A DNA Sequencing System is an automated gel-scanning instrument, which consis of an electrophoresis module, a Macintosh computer that includes software for data collection and data analysis, and a Tektronix Phaser 340 printer.

With the modue 373A system, you can sequence DNA or size quantitate DNA fragments. You can use different size gel plates for electrophoresis, depending on the application. In addition to the 24 cm well-to-read used for sequencing, gel plate lengths for a well-to-read distance of 6 cm and 12 cm can be used for fragment analysis.
